UK Social Life

One thing that I was rather concerned about when moving back to the UK was how my social life would be compared to Toronto. Of course, it wasn’t going to be the same as sending a message to a friend every other week and doing a ‘food’ as I don’t have anyone who really lives that close by.

Weekdays aren’t too busy right now, due to working during the day, but also not having a car of my own yet.  Not to say that I’m not able to drive anywhere, as I do have use of my mom’s car but I have to work within what she’s doing.

Weekends mostly tends to be where it’s at right now.

Let’s see…

  • Jan 10 (Saturday) : LondonFurs meet
  • Jan 17-18 : Nothing really
  • Jan 24-25 : Again, nothing really
  • Jan 29 (Thursday) : SurreyFurs dinner
  • Jan 31 (Saturday) : Another LondonFurs meet
  • Feb 7-8 : Nothing
  • Feb 15 (Sunday) : HitchHiker’s Guide to the Galaxy immersive event
  • Feb 21 (Saturday) : LondonFurs
  • Feb 26 (Thursday) : SurreyFurs dinner
  • Feb 28, Mar 1 : Pokémon GO – Kalos Tour
  • Mar 7-8 : Nothing
  • Mar 14 : Mer-swimming(!)
  • Mar 15 : Mother’s Day lunch with family

Granted that not every weekend is expected to be full of stuff to do, but looking at it written out it’s actually quite a fair bit of socialization!
